This page contains detailed routemaps and drink stop information for each of the Tour de Broads distances and also links to the GPS routes. Please note that these routes may be subject to change on the day of event, please use as a guide only and instead refer to the Tour de Broads roads side signage.

100 Mile

Start Time

100 mile cyclists can start between 8 and 9am.

Drink & Lunch Stops

You have 4 drink stops and a lunch stop on this route. Situated every 15-20 miles along the route with free fill up of your water bottles and use of the facilities, there should be no need for you to relieve yourself in the countryside.

All Tour de Broads drink stops will be marked by our feather flags and run by volunteers from our partner charities. £2 will buy you a hot drink and a cake at each of these stops – other treats may also be on sale.

Your first Drink stop is at 15 miles at Warren School, Carleton Coleville. Suffolk Wildlife Trust are running this stop.

Your next Drink stop at 35 miles at Smokey Joes Restaurant and run by Macmillan.

Lunch is after 51 miles at River Green, Thorpe St Andrew. A nice picturesque place to sit by the river whilst enjoying your lunch. A meal-deal style lunch is included in your entry and includes sandwich, crisps, flapjack and banana. You will need to show your wristband to get free lunch. No wristband – no lunch. Volunteers from the Army Cadets will be running the lunch stop. If you want to purchase a hot drink or any more food, Harleys café is just over the road, the Rushcutters is next door. Why not arrange for your friends & family to meet you here and cheer you on.
Your 3rd Drink stop is at The Swan, Horning on mile 71. Public toilets are by the car park and Nelson’s Journey will welcome you with a drink and cake for just £2.
Your last Drink stop is at 85 miles hosted by the NNAB at the Waterside Café in Rollesby.


75 Mile

75 mile cyclists can start between 8:30 and 9:30am.

Drink & Lunch Stops

You have 3 drink stops and a lunch stop on this route. Situated every 15-20 miles along the route with free fill up of your water bottles and use of the facilities, there should be no need for you to relieve yourself in the countryside.

You split from the 100 mile cyclists at South Walsham, around 60 miles – keep a look out for the Course split signs to ensure you follow the correct route.

Your last Drink stop is at 64 miles at Acle Bridge. Hosted by Broads Boating and run by the Project Trust. It’s on your left just before the bridge – look for the Tour de Broads Feather flag and please watch for traffic as you rejoin the road after your stop.

 


50 Mile

50 mile cyclists can start between 9 and 10am.

Drink Stops

You have 2 drink stops on this route. Situated every 15-20 miles along the route with free fill up of your water bottles and use of the facilities, there should be no need for you to relieve yourself in the countryside.

You split from the 100 and 75 mile cyclists at Gillingham, around 27 miles – keep a look out for the Course split signs to ensure you follow the correct route.

Your last Drink stop is at 33 miles at Waveney River Centre, Burgh St Peter.


25 Mile

25 mile cyclists can start between 9 and 10am.

Drink Stops

After 13 miles you will SPLIT from the rest of the cyclists by turning right as you exit the gates of Somerleyton Hall.

Your Drink stop is just 1 mile further on at The Dukes Head Pub, Somerleyton. The drink stop will be marked by our feather flag and run by volunteers from the RNLI. £2 will buy you a hot drink and a cake – other treats may also be on sale.
